I'm Socheath! I just graduated and I'm super excited to start building things on the web. I love making websites that look great and feel smooth to use. I'm just at the beginning of my journey, but I'm ready to learn and create.
Who I Am
Hey, I'm Socheath — a frontend developer and UI designer from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. I graduated 2 years ago, and since then I've been working in this field, turning designs into real, working websites.
In my current job, I work with existing company codebases almost every day. My main job is updating old systems, fixing bugs, and making the interface and user experience better.
Besides coding, I also do graphic design sometimes, even though I never studied it formally. I taught myself using Figma — I plan the layout and make the assets first, before writing any code, so the final result looks clean and matches the design.
System Modernization
I work with old codebases and make them better. I update legacy systems to modern standards and improve the overall structure.
UI/UX Improvement
I make user interfaces easier to use and more responsive. I try to connect backend function with a good user experience.
Graphic Design
I use Figma to design mockups, make visual assets, and plan the layout before I write any code, so the result matches the design.

I don't expect to know everything — I expect to be challenged, make mistakes, and grow steadily alongside people who are more experienced than me. The title matters less than the opportunity to do real, impactful work.
